The Kansas Migrant & ELL Academy is a professional development opportunity for teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators in need of information on how to effectively instruct the migrant and English language learning students in their district. This Academy is divided into three cohorts of educators: middle school, high school, elementary school. We started with middle school teachers in the summer of 2009; the Migrant and ELL Academy will also provide cohorts of educators with pre- and post-face-to-face institutes. Online support is available.
